Random Bits of Dreams

about

Experimental noise/ dronescape

This deliberately breaks ALL the rules for music. It is not linear, it does not follow a meter or a pentameter, it is saturated with way too many tracks of instruments, and some elements are too loud.

Uses Ableton Live with Reaktor, Max for Live, Yamaha Reface DX, and Korg Kronos. Also uses Roland SP-404 SX as an 'instrument' tweaking sampled tracks in real time to the Tascam DP-24 SD recorder using delay, voice trans and DJFX Looper filters.

New tools used in Ableton Live, such as Voltage Modular vst attached to Max for Live Wurmgen generative music filter. Effected through DragonFly Hall reverb on 'Great Hall' setting.

Reaktor Nod-E attached internally to Chimaerandom and effected with Space Master Stereo on Space Temple (Rear) setting.

Fender Strat run through GarageBand in iOS using Apogee guitar interface, sampled, reversed, and effected externally through Roland SP-404 SX reverb filter.

iOS app 'Drums' also added, sampled to Roland SP-404 SX, reversed, and reverb applied.

Yamaha Reface DX used in two tracks, original programmed voice 'Drops', and 'DynaLead', run through the reverb module of Roland SP-404 SX

Korg Kronos used two tracks of original sampled vocal instrument 'Nebulous YAR!', one sampled and reversed in Roland SP-404 SX and tweaked in real-time using several filters..
