about

This collection is a project initiated in 2010, but after 7 tracks was never finished. Dedicated to the Surrealist painter Salvador Dali, the album title and track titles reflect the painter's penchant for long convoluted names for his works.

For more information on Salvador Dali, go to en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salvador_Dal%C3%AD and to view examples of his works, here: www.dalipaintings.com

The earlier works were composed in Propellerhead Reason and Imageline FL Studio, as well as Ableton Live. Fender Stratocaster was added through a Line 6 TonePort GX guitar interface. The last two tracks were composed in Ableton Live Suite 10 and exported to Tascam DP24-SD where other tracks were added from a Korg Kronos 2 synth workstation.

A note on track 7: Hallucinogenic Toreador is actually the first track that was recorded, since it was recorded on a 4-track cassette portastudio in 1988, using a Yamaha DX100 FM synthesizer, and was later digitized to p.c.
